Dr. Markus Müller is Senior Vice President Product Development and Technical Customer Support at DEUTZ AG, a diesel- and gas engine manufacturer in the power range of 19 – 620 kW, located in Cologne Germany.
In his current role Dr. Müller is globally responsible for Research & Development, Electrification and the Technical Customer Support. He joined DEUTZ in 2006 and worked in different areas of the R&D Department - mainly focused on Emission & Performance technologies and engine system engineering.
In his last position before leaving DEUTZ in 2016, Dr. Müller lead as Vice President the Department for System Integration and the Technical Project Management.
Prior to re-joining DEUTZ in his current position in 2018, he worked two years as Managing Director at HJS Exhaust Emission Technology – a supplier for exhaust aftertreatment systems - and was responsible for Engineering, Production and Sales.
Dr. Müller’s education in Germany included a master’s degree in mechanical engineering and he received his PhD (Dr.-Ing.) at the University of Rostock at the Institute for Internal Combustion Engines.
Married, with 2 children, Dr. Müller resides in Cologne, Germany.
