Dr. Markus Schwaderlapp is Senior Vice President Research & Development at Deutz AG, a diesel and gas engine manufacturer in the power range of 19 to 620 kW, located in Cologne, Germany.
In his current role Dr. Schwaderlapp is responsible for Research & Development of diesel and gas engines, electric and hybrid powertrains and digital solutions. He joined Deutz in 2015.
Before Deutz he worked 25 years for FEV GmbH, in Aachen, Germany, in a variety of different functions. The last 10 years as executive vice president responsible for engineering worldwide and sales in Europe and South America.
Dr. Schwaderlapp’s education in Germany included a master’s degree in materials engineering at RWTH Aachen and he received his Phd (Dr. Ing.) in mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen.
Married, with 4 children, he resides in Aachen, Germany
