Ray Gallant is vice president sales support, region Americas, for Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE). He is responsible for the company’s vision in the region on future product development and technologies, sales and operator training programs and customer center operations. He is also in charge of Volvo CE’s demonstration program and any other required sales support activities in the Americas.
Prior to his current position, Ray has also held a role as director of product planning at Volvo CE. He has over 25 years of experience in product development, product planning, and sales and marketing with a variety of equipment products.
Ray holds a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) from Dalhousie University, a Bachelor of Science in Forest Engineering from University of New Brunswick, a Master of Science in Management from Boston University, and is currently in the final stages of thesis review for his Doctor of Business Administration degree. Ray has been registered as a Professional Engineer in the Canadian provinces of Ontario and New Brunswick.
