Jim McCarthy is senior chief engineer for Product Proceeding Technologies within the Mobility Group at Eaton. He has focused his engineering career on conserving fossil fuels and reducing emissions by creating organic growth solutions.
McCarthy received his Ph.D., Masters of Science and Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University. In 2020, he was recognized by Purdue with the Outstanding Mechanical Engineering Career Award.
McCarthy is an SAE Fellow, holds 93 patents and has authorized more than 50 journal papers.
